Hello, all,

My name is Joey, I'm currently working on my first novel.
Last night I just passed 90k words.

Working title: Neo Oak
Setting Oakland roughly a hundred years from now.
Genre: Cyberpunk
Main cast: 
Águila Hernandez (a mechanical engineer)
Zavesh Ahuja (a master class hacker)
Estrella Ahn (a weapon smith, developing new experimental weaponry)

Theme: A political system ran by a corporatocracy.
The effects it has on the society at large. 
There is a huge devide between social classes.
There is a huge emphasis on technology.
One of my main goals is to have a diverse cast of characters that represents a large array of people.

The story focuses on two friends and their rise against the corporatocracy. 

If anyone is interested in reading a chapter or something, let me know. I'm very interested to see what people think.

I just finished my book clocking in at 111,191 words. I'm going to take a little break to decompress my brain and then start the editing process.
