2a. Nothing new this time. I love the social media aspect of reading and having a fun self care weekend planned.
2b. To read as much as possible, get some sleep in between, making it a full weekend, relax, have fun! 🙂 Also going to do a little mixed drink tonight.
With the regular readathon I stay up until I'm done and avoid mixed drinks or alcohol because they make me sleepy, but tonight since I'm going to sleep in the middle I get to indulge!
What are you looking forward to eating and drinking during this Readathon? --- Just ate my okay lasagna I premade. Otherwise the usual coffees, pots of teas, the drink above, cheese and cracker snacks, have some ice cream, chocolate silk pie, and plan to do Breakfast with a book tomorrow
Are you sticking to our official Readathon times or adjusting for your schedule/preferences/etc.? --- I make it a full weekend

I've participated in Dewey's Readathons off and on from aboutthe beginning.

Opening Event Survey
1. How many Dewey's Readathons have you participated in?
A lot. Every one since 2017 has been recorded on this thread. I think I participated twice before making the thread. I don't remember what year the Reverse started.
2a. If this is not your first Dewey's Readathon, what are your favorite things from past Dewey's readathons? Are you trying anything new or different this time?
Setting aside mindful time to read. I try to do it all the time but specifically making plans to just read is a favorite. And of course, the social aspect. I've made a lot of friends through Dewey's! Nothing new this time except that I have actual plans tomorrow lol.
2b. What are your goals, and what are you looking forward to during this Readathon?
Just to read and have fun.
3. What are you looking forward to eating and drinking during this Readathon?
Whatever my former coworker cooks up lol because if I don't have to cook it, I love it! I do have some SmartSweets as well.
4. Are you sticking to our official Readathon times or adjusting for your schedule/preferences/etc.?
I usually always keep time for the original 24 hours. I also continue reading after the end but I don't track that.

2a. If this is not your first Dewey's Readathon, what are your favorite things from past Dewey's readathons? Are you trying anything new or different this time? My favorite is getting to connect online with so many readers! In my everyday life none of my friends or family (except my dad) love to read so it feels nice connecting with other book lovers.
2b. What are your goals, and what are you looking forward to during this Readathon? My goal is to be my best total time read (which is currently 18 hrs and some odd minutes), so I hope to amass at least 19 hrs of pure reading time. I am looking forward to the online connections and also reading some great books.
3. What are you looking forward to eating and drinking during this Readathon? I have my traditional Almond M&Ms to snack on. I try to have them at every Dewey's.
4. Are you sticking to our official Readathon times or adjusting for your schedule/preferences/etc.? I read every day...it's just who I am. So during the read a thons I try to stick to the official times and just track how much of that 24 hours I actually spend reading.
5. Where are you reading from today? the Texas panhandle

3. Whatever snacks are available in my home and just my water, iced coffee, Gatorade routine. I was just gifted some packets for my water and have one called mermaid I would like to try!
