Oradell | 2 comments There is a quote with 1,154 likes at this time, but it's not in the book at all. It's the one that starts, I still love books. Nothing a computer can do can compare to a book. You can't really put a book on the Internet.
The book was written in 1953, he was not writing about computers and the internet in it. I have ctrl-f'd PDFs of F451 and can't find any mention of the word computer.

I found the source of the quote. In an article on the website Giantfreakinrobot dot com they mention that he said the full quote in an interview with the Peoria Star Journal, but it was in 2000 and I can't find the interview itself online.
I cannot find any evidence of the quote being in a digital foreword either, I really don't think this quote has been published in the book in any capacity. Are you able to remove it?

Apologies if a Librarian is able to fulfil this request, I am new to this part of Goodreads but had read that only Superlibrarians can modify quotes with over 500 likes.

I've just now gone through the 60th anniversary Simon & Schuster eBook version with a Neil Gaiman introduction and many additions including writings by Ray Bradbury and some other short stories of his, and even then the quote is definitely not in it.
