Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

By this time in the readathon, you've probably completed one book. I have just finished Funny in Farsi: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America which is a memoir of the writer's life into the early years of marriage. I am surprised I never heard of it until it started showing up among the reviews of friends of friends. I am reading biographies/memoirs and other books about women this second half of the year. I see That FD has other books she's written. I an on to new writer :)

Anything interest you among the books you've read?

Three Shattered Souls was a nice conclusion to the trilogy.

I started my Readathon with finishing My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. It was really good! It's the only book I finished during the readathon.
