8th grade was my least favorite one (after 6th grade..) but I don't wanna scare you lol.
I'll give you some tips but they don't really involve studying. I barely studied during my 8th grade. The only really important stuff I learned was in maths because most of the topics you'll need in later classes too.
Don't take school very seriously, but try not to fall behind too much. Try to build discipline and self confidence, the next few years will be harder. And spend time with your friends or try to find new honest and good friendships.
Yeah and at home try to have as much free time as you can and use it for your hobbies etc., I'm going into 11th and I feel like I won't have time for anything now

in general girl i would say just be yourself and talk to people. and ik everyone says that but coming from someone who has social anxiety just remember that life is never that serious

and for studying, i took advanced classes in 8th which means i had highschool exams for some classes and i didn't take them serious the first time and almost failed my math one so girl if you do have any important tests or exams make sure you study😭

8th grade was pretty chill for me tbh. just focus on getting good grades because your grades and test scores in 8th determine what classes you’ll take freshman year.

8th grade kinda determines which classes you take in freshman so try to get good grades and create a good study method that works for you because it will be very beneficial for high school. Have fun because 8th grade is the fun year you get one more year before grades start to really count for your future in high school.

Honestly it was pretty chill and boring for me. My middle school had 3 grades, so all I rlly cared about was to get out of there since how long I’d been there. I would just say try your hardest and have fun. Idk abt ur school but grades in mine don’t really matter until highschool, as long as you got an A or B in math then you were good. But still, try your hardest and set habits and goals that’ll help u in highschool.

I know a lot of people have already commented on this but yk just in case you need more advice: Don't stress. Like try hard and study and do clubs and whatever but honestly the best thing you can do for yourself is to not take it that seriously. I'm about to go into my first year in college, and if there is anything Ive learned is that stressing about the future, and you grades, and your friends is the worst thing you can do for yourself.

Which I know is a lot easier said than done > < the best tip I have for not stressing is to genuinely give yourself a relatiy check every few days. You can write in a journal or even just talk out loud to yourself but just be like "Girl I'm doing my best and that all I'm gonna do and Im not gonna be worrying about stupid things or things out of my control."

Its cheesy ik > < but it works if you do it consistently.

Omg, I'm also in 8th grade! Okay, i know this might sound a bit weird, but thank god there are other people the same age as me here. Like when I first came on this platform, I didn't know a single person my age, the only people I saw were like above the age 20. I mean, I've been in 8th grade since January? I don't know how it works for you in your country. But 8th grade is kinda the best. For me, I got into my dream class, I finally found friends who understand me, and nobody rlly cares abt your grades (thats only if you're in the class i'm in {no offense to anybody here}), but yeah. I mean, I try to get A's and B's mostly, coz this class I'm in has certain expectations for you to just be smarter than others. But year 8 is rlly good. and I hope you enjoy it!

Some things I learned is to work hard but don’t let school become everything on your mind, have something you do just for fun like having a comfort YouTuber (you don’t want to burn yourself out). Also don’t punish yourself for the small things if you need a break, take one. If you take any high school courses make sure to prioritize learning and studying (especially for final exams).
I know taking notes isn’t great but my notes are what got me through 8th.

If something is too complicated and you don’t understand it just ask ChatGPT to simplify it until you understand (i spent way to many hours trying to teach myself something I just didn’t understand, and it’s not worth the time at all).

What age is 8th grade? (I’m in England and we use years so I’m in y10(well going into ) so y10 is ages 14-15)

omg 8th was my fave!! really push yourself to be social, i didnt have many friends in 6th and 7th and i was pretty quiet, but iin 8th grade i became one of the students who couldnt sit next t my friends. good thng to keep n mind friend groups dont equal friends. talk to people, learn about them, find shared interests trust me friends make everything so much more fun

Honestly middle school is basically hell for teenage girls, but my biggest advice is to be yourself and to be kind. It inspires others to do the same, and I regret worrying about impressing people when the coolest girls were the ones who were kind and really cared about others. If you’re shy, try to come out of your shell a bit! If you’re not ready for that though, that’s okay too. You’ll do a lot of growing in the next ~10 years of your life so give yourself some grace!

Thats a good thing! 9 people kinda makes it less awkward, and you can all make better connections with each other. I mean, my situation is kinda different, but I recently moved to another class with 30 people and they've all been in the same class since year 7, so they all already have their friend groups within the class. so me and my friend, who are the only new ones in the class find it difficult to make good friends.

I'm so done with middle school at this point and I'm going into 8th so one more year 😭 but I had 2 people yell at me in a class (last year so 7th grade) and the teacher basically did nothing, then they followed me the rest of the day until the end where the got their friend to yell at me (yeah they couldn't do it themselves) and I haven't been so glad I had a lock on my cello case at the time cause I sware they were about to do something to her.(as in my cello) but I got the kid taken out of school for a day so she couldn't do any of the fun stuff we do at the end of the year 😁

8th grade was my fav year out of middle school. Honestly the work I had wasn’t bad if you just don’t procrastinate and actually try. I wouldn’t recommend acting like you’re all that though just because for at least my school you’re the oldest of the school. Just be kind and have self awareness.
