Can someone tell me how to tag the publishing company and author in my Goodreads reviews? I’m going around in circles…😩

I don't think you can on GR, those tags listed are for other social medias so that they can share your reviews. You just need to copy the review link to the review page on NG and it will allow the publisher to see where all you've promoted them basically.

The only way I can think of to 'tag' an author is to use the "add book/author" option above the text box. I don't think that's necessary though and I don't think there is a way to tag publishers. I never tag the author or publisher on GR. They are both already linked to the book you are reviewing.

Great! Thank you both! That makes sense. I’ve already added the links to the NG pages. I must have misunderstood a publisher’s request. I thought they said to add tags in GR. They must have meant other social media.
