August's marathon is a nice, relaxing walk on one of Europe's popular barefoot paths. Let's all go to Lienen, Germany, and saunter around their 2.5 km (1.6 mile) trail.
While walking barefoot you will quickly develop a sense for the different surfaces - limestone, bark mulch, crushed stones, sand, grass, timber, paving and pebbles. So don't hesitate: Off with your shoes!
