According to the FBI, I was considered a serial murderer after three kills. What do they call me after fifty-two? They call me the Silencer. One final bullet would have been all it took to stop me from taking another soul, and I would have been doing Meridian City a service by pulling that trigger. An angel crying for help stopped me, and that night, I took three lives for her. Then three turned into eight. Then eight turned into twenty. Twenty turned into twenty-one. Twenty one turned into twenty-three. Elena Young is the hero in my story, but I’m the villain in hers. And this is the kind of story where the villain gets the girl, even if it kills her.

I feel like that's kind of a little bit obvious from the start????? Especially since just from the prologue you can already deduce that he's..... The one being talked about in the synopsis

Which made me think they were not the same person, but I definitely wouldnt be surprised if they were they same people. (hide spoiler)]

Im guessing that this is going to be an ongoing mystery all throughout the novel 😭, which is really unique because all masked ppl romances that i read already show who hey are on the first few pages.

(view spoiler)[why is it that Charlotte's entire character is to just be Sadbait, like her entire existence is all for people to get sad at the ending "because she just wants some fucking pancakes".

There are many people claiming this book to have damaged them and so damn emotional especially with that ending but I didn't shed a tear at all. It was all so predictable (yes, even the end), and there are many sad bait scenes in here like...that ending!

It seems like the author just went like....

what if we killed off every single character? That would be extremely saddening 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐 people would "definitely" cry for this..

And i mean it did but.......these are such cheap tricks for a book to just,,.,.,.kill off everyone for the sake of sad and sad it is really forced. But i mean if u did get emotional for this iz ok, its just these very poor and cheap tricks to make people feel emotional without doing any character depth are commonly found in almost all of these "books that will surely make you cry" books.
