Mock Printz 2026 discussion

In this semi-dystopian/speculative novel, Oppel creates a world where families and individuals must learn to survive forced isolation and where clashing ideologies threaten that survival. Can Oppel deliver another Printz winner with this thriller?

Man, I was so disappointed in the lack of substance in this one. I did find the dueling conspiracies/role of conspiracy theory in this intriguing, but the payoff was not there. Too many characters lacked dimension.
