I hope your summer's are going well and you are managing to get some reading done. A lot of the reading I have been doing hasn't been fulfilling any of my reading prompts. So, while I know I have been doing okay, I feel as though I could be reading more.
While I know a lot of you still have a month of summer left, here in Hawai'i we are on our last week of summer vacation and I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me on a little mini summer read-a-thon?
I want to use this to try to fulfill prompts, while also finishing the many books I am "currently reading". As well as the stack of library books that are coming due.
With that being said, the "rules" of this read-a-thon are:
1. Finish books you are currently reading.
2. Read books you have slotted in for unfulfilled prompts. (If you do not have books already listed to fulfill prompts, ONLY pick-out/read books that will fulfill a prompt.)
While our read-a-thon's are usually only 7-10 days, I feel like since this is a summer side challenge, and also a personal one, we should have two (2) weeks to do this. Since everyone reads at a different pace, you can choose how many books you want to set as a goal, either a week goal or an overall goal. You can also choose to focus on just one of the rules.
I hope you join me on this end of summer push to finish books. I you do, feel free to make your own comment below to keep track of your progress.
