Nikki agrees to meet with Rory and he provides her with lots of information about the night her parents died, including the party. He also reveals that Mark was sleeping with Sheriff Hardin’s wife (he was a deputy at the time). Was Nikki’s confidence in her beliefs about that night shaken? Were yours?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think that both Nikki and I were doubting her memory. We knew she was probably drugged at the party which would impair her memory. The fact that Mark was sleeping with Hardin's wife made me think that Hardin had set him up for the murders.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments As more information comes out about the party, Nikki is doubting the events as she remembers them. I was convinced that Nikki's memories were what she was told, not what she remembered.

Jo Ann (jojog) | 104 comments I was not expecting the information about Mark and Hardin's wife. That raised red flags for me regarding Hardin.

~Melissa~ | 429 comments I agree that all of us were doubting Nikki's memory. So many red flags going up about Hardin and the investigation let alone what happened at the party

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I think Nikki's confidence in her memories was shaken before this with the DAs information on the new DNA.

Nevertheless, I did not believe her memories about the blood being taken by the paramedic were wrong. She remembered too many details for it not to have happened.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Exactly my thoughts, Robin.

Nikki always said her memory of the party was fuzzy but her head was clear when she got home. I never questioned was she was always certain about. But the other stuff? This is when I was convinced they got it wrong and Mark was innocent.
