Who is going to read The Unknown Ajax in August? Which time is this for you?

Please, put any spoiler in the spoiler brackets.

The thread with spoilers is here.

sabagrey | 379 comments I will re-read this for certain, it is one of my favourites ... and every time I read it I promise myself to also read Troilus and Cressida, the inspiration for "Ajax" and source of the quotes. I have never done it so far.

this is definitely one that gains in re-reading, because you can better appreciate the meticulous build-up of the drama ;-))

Lani (lani14) | 4 comments I’ve never read it, but it was on to read list. I’ll be doing a mix if kindle and audio depending on housework.

Barb in Maryland | 816 comments I'll not be reading it this time, but I thought people might be interested in a really bad cover--

The Unknown Ajax by Georgette Heyer

This was the cover of my first pb copy, read sometime in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
Trust Ace to put the lady in front and the title character in the distant background!
