I just LOVE a second chance romance so I'm very very keen for this one!

I am a bit dubious about their relationship because their lack of communication skills is BAD and I don't know how they can come back from that, but I'm rooting for them! I also hope that Shake doesn't come into it too much because I that kind of drama stresses me out! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10: (view spoiler)[Absolutely loved that chapter, so cute Nikhil taking care of Meena!

I’m not confident that they’re going to be able to resolve all their relationship problems to my satisfaction though, I feel like there’s so much to unpack there! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13: (view spoiler)[The most shocking communication ever, Meena really needs to make up her mind and commit either way and stop stringing both Shake and Nikhil along! She is actually getting on my nerves! Nikhil is so sweet and really trying and putting it all out there and she’s just so self absorbed! (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[This was okay, but overall I just felt like it was all a bit surface level? Their background was never fleshed out very well and the resolution was wayyyy to sudden to feel realistic for me. Also whilst I was rooting for Nikhil, I was just constantly annoyed at Meena! So indecisive and very irritating!

Not sure about that ending - I don't love her giving up her whole career to run an inn... (hide spoiler)]

ITS NOT EVEN CRINGE, ITS NOT CRINGE WRITING its just...nothing, all the characters are severely undeveloped and none of them are even interesting, there is just the three of them, sometimes its just her and Nikhil anyways soo....its just extremely non-existent (hide spoiler)]

agreed, the story is just the two of them miscommunicating and ive seen that trope be used on too many books

surface level indeed, its not doing anything new and i think ive read the exact same story before.
