Chapter 10: (view spoiler)

Oh no worries! 😁😁, i love it when people get honest about the books that they read, i also noticed that on the other buddy reads that we did. But honestly hating books is kind of fun. More of a "this is so bad it's funny and i'm going to laugh at it because of how bad it is" rather than a "this is so bad i'm mad and irritated", that's how i am most of the time because of the sheer amounts of books that i read, my standards are now fixed and cemented, most books probably fall under three stars and i will forget all about that book later on which just makes all the ACTUAL GOOD BOOKS have their time to shine and for me to appreciate it. But even then, reading bad books is still fun, the act of reading is what gets me going, not the quality of the book of how good or bad it is, it only amplifies it.
And i also do agree, the "now" is more uninteresting than the "then"

Yeaaa, it feels like everything is so rushedddd 😭😭

Okay so i haven't watched Summer I Turned Pretty, so i definitely haven't seen season 3 but isn't that based on a book series? I think ill read those next

Haha yessss it's a YA book series by Jenny Han! I read the first one wayyyy back in like 2016 but I don't think I ever finished the series lol!
But then my friends were all watching the show so I joined in halfway through season 3 without watching the earlier seasons hahah!

Ok so I'm not too sure about the chemistry in this book. It's just not sitting right with me.. I'll continue, hoping it picks up

Aaaaaaaed that's what kind of make this a bit better,,, more unique right? At least it's not directly just dialogue after dialogue after dialogue, it's really reminding me of classic literature.., but still 2★ this is extremely bad haha

Don't even worry about the late join haha, glad you made it!
YES I completely agree with you though! I couldn't quite put a finger on all the reasons why I didn't like this that much but you're so right, you can feel it even from the start!

He's still in love her and she's still in love with him. Eventhough they may not both know this about each other 😥😥😥

ackwardddddddddd, especially when we already know that theyre kinda not for each other anymore.......i do wish that they said this to each other sooner so it wont hurt that much when they eventually say itttt

Love this about you! I tend to be that reader who rates everything 5 stars even if it isnt. But I'm starting to draw a back and be bluntly honest x

Do take long walks on the sand.
Do put an umbrella in every cocktail.
Do NOT run into your first love.
Sam’s life is on track. She has the perfect doctor fiancé, Jack (his strict routines are a good thing, really), a great job in Manhattan (unless they fire her), and is about to tour a wedding venue near her family’s Long Island beach house. Everything should go to plan, yet the minute she arrives, Sam senses something is off. Wyatt is here. Her Wyatt. But there’s no reason for a thirty-year-old engaged woman to feel panicked around the guy who broke her heart when she was seventeen. Right?
Yet being back at this beach, hearing notes from Wyatt’s guitar float across the night air from next door as if no time has passed—Sam’s memories come flooding back: the feel of Wyatt’s skin on hers, their nights in the treehouse, and the truth behind their split. Sam remembers who she used to be, and as Wyatt reenters her life their connection is as undeniable as it always was. She will have to make a choice.
