I recently finished a thought-provoking Christian historical novel titled My Name Is Saul by Lin Wilder. It’s a fictionalized account of Apostle Paul’s final night in the Mamertine prison, told through powerful flashbacks of his transformation from Saul to Paul.

The writing blends rich biblical detail with emotional depth, and it really made me reflect on the cost of conviction and grace. If you’re drawn to faith-driven stories grounded in real history like The Robe or Ben-Hur this one might resonate.

Has anyone else here read it or come across other novels set in the New Testament era?
