I started building my author website to promote my debut amateur sleuth mystery. Since I don't have a book or sample to promote yet, I created a section of the website called "Amateur Sleuth Central" where I have pages of genres such as cozy, historical, humorous, and community mysteries. It currently resides on my website but I have gotten a URL for this section to make it a unique entity.
I would like to partner with other authors on promoting traffic and creating content. I don't plan to charge either authors or readers on the site.
In addition to the current content, I'd like to interview you on your book series and works in progress either in video or podcast form.
We could create directories of amateur sleuth authors and series, cross-promote with newsletters, etc.
