Twisted discussion

In the book Twisted, i thought that Laurie Halse Anderson was a very good writer. She really led me on and made me beleive I was right there with Tyler the whole way through. She made be beleive Tyler was going to commit suicide, but in the end he decided against it. Does anyone agree?

well for a little i thought he might do so, but wished against it, and he didn't so im happy for him

and i feel for his father so much since he was very similar to my mother (and the part about wanting to be above his father and not being able to made me almost cry)

this author made made me feel like i was living it too. the wording is so real.

I wanted to really know about Tyler and Bethany i wanted to see maybe if they had another chance with each other.

I dont want Bethany and Tyler to be together at least until she figures out what she want

I thought it was an incredible piece of writing. After the big event in the book (to avoid spoilers) I was reading at a hectic break neck pace. I burned through this book really quickly, just from the need to find out what happens next.

Also, I agree with Alexandria. She was flirting with tons of guys, Tyler needs to do better. (Which I thought was the insinuation at the end, that he'd moved beyond her)

She initially seems like a lovely girl, then she demonstrates a startling tendency to pounce on anything in trousers when shes had a few too many drinks (which clearly happens frequently). In the end Tyler learns he had a near escape and can do much, much better.
