The Art of Listening. -God has answers to our questions by simply listening and obeying His word. We allow so much "white noise" in other words daily distractions to overpower what God is saying. Even with all the white noise we need to train our ears to focus on God's Voice. God is saying train your ears to identify my voice. Sometimes he speaks through other people, when you're reading His words, in your car, pretty much anywhere when you're receptive to receive it. -(PUT ON YOUR LISTENING EARS) -
Go out and stand before me on the mountain,” the LORD told him. And as Elijah stood there, the LORD passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. -1 Kings 19:11-12 Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! -Psalm 81:13 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. -Proverbs 3:6 Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others. -Proverbs 12:15 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognizes his voice and comes to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. -John 10:3
