The author profile for The NYT author still incorrectly gives the crime writer's website and place of birth, which is not his. I should have pointed this out. (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...). Once that is removed it seems all good, thank you for your work.
Hm the Kevin Flynn who wrote Wicked Intentions seems to have two different pages claimed:* https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Even though now the second one does not contain any of his books. Librarians cannot edit claimed pages.
I have asked Goodreads Support to remove the claimed status from the page that should be for the NYT journalist.
SMH Goodreads support initially refused to remove the claimed status from Kevin^^Flynn (the NYT Journalist), then suddenly they merged it into Kevin^^^Flynn (crime writer). Asked them to fix it, just waiting for a response now.

Massachusetts based crime writer, see his website https://www.authorkevinflynn.com/ for proper information on what books he has written. - is mostly accurate, with the exception of The Silent Brotherhood (https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...). The Silent Brotherhood book is authored by Kevin 5, not him. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is attributed to Kevin 3 but according to his website he is the author. This book incorrectly attributed to Kevin 3 is also him ( https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... ) since it is, according to the amazon bio (https://www.amazon.com/Pay-Attention-...), the same person who wrote Wicked Intentions, listed on his website
Kevin 2 - https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... NYT journalist, author of 102 minutes (correctly attributed). He is also the author of another NYT book, (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) which is incorrectly credited to Kevin 3, which needs to be moved. these versions of 102 are also incorrecly credited to kevin 3 (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5..., https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7..., https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...). https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... same book are also incorrectly attributed to Kevin 3.
Kevin 3 (Kevin J Flynn, according to his coinzip profile https://coinzip.com/dealerPage.php?de...) - Numismatist - https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... he has written many book about coins. Here is a list of his books from a coin society he is in. https://nnp.wustl.edu/library/PersonD... and https://www.indianvarieties.com/kevin.... The goodreads conflates him with many other authors. This book should be attributed to him and another author who the data is treating as 1 combined guy (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) This book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... he had nothing to do with at all and should be removed.

Kevin 5 - Colorado based crime writer. He is a councilman of Denver, see the town page for information on him https://denvergov.org/Government/Agen... - We do not have a Goodreads author item for him, according to his city bio he has written only 2 books. He wrote The Silent Brotherhood (incorrectly credited to Kevin 1) and The Unmasking (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...), which is incorrectly credited to Kevin 3. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7... is a German translation of the Unmasking and should also be attributed to him. This https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is a duplicate of The Silent Brotherhood that combines him with his coauthor.
Kevin 7 - crime prosecutor and author of 2 books. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... official website https://www.kevinflynnauthor.com/ This one is fine, just included as to not confuse because he is another crime writer.
Kevin 8 - climber. wrote 1 book (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) incorrectly attributed to Kevin 3. See the book description https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Everest-...

I only really care about fixing Kevin 5 (I like the movie his book inspired and confused him for Kevin 1 for like an hour) but it would be nice if this mess could be untangled. Sorry if I made any mistakes I am new to goodreads. Thanks for your time!
