Like you couldn't feel the way you wanted to feel? Maybe because we're afraid of what others may say, or their advice or condemnation. -

But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. -Psalm 3:3
The LORD hears his people when they call him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. -Psalm 34:17
Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. -Psalm 55:22
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. -1 Peter 5:7
In his kindness, God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. -1 Peter 5:10

Hando Ferreira | 3 comments Maybe we’re afraid that in admitting the truth we’ll lose the promise of safety that ties us to the lie. “Did God really say ……?”
We instinctively know that honesty, surrender, leads to the cross and desperate to cling to ‘my life’, we resist the death that is the door to His Life.
