2025 Reading Challenge discussion

This thread is to discuss Dracul, the first book in the Stoker's Dracula series by Dacre Stoker.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

I'm pretty excited for this one so I'm likely to start this weekend.
I don't usually vibe with audiobooks but Libby says this one has a full cast (these are the kinds I like!) and it's available with no wait :)
I think I'm gonna listen and read along for a full experience haha

I own this book , and the Un-Dead, so I think I'll join in on this one. I've read Dracula. I would love to see what these add to the story.

Mid-read thoughts:

So I'm about halfway through this book and so far I'm really enjoying it. It's different than what I imagined it would be.

I really do like Matilda and her letters. I love her personal drive to seek answers.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It really didn't change my views on anything other than the views of the original Dracula. Not for the better or worse, I just look at the story a little differently now.
