Theresa | 2 comments Just a curious question. How do you all feel about having a hold on a library eBook book and waiting forever because the current reader finishes but doesn't turn it in early? I know some can't for one reason or another, but I always try to.

Keri Sparks | 629 comments I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to hang onto something any longer than I have to, so all my library holds get returned the moment (next day for physical books) I'm done with it. But on the receiving end, I can't say I really noticed. Usually if I see I'm not getting the ebook immediately, I tend move on and find another book to read while I wait. I just wait for the email to tell me when it's ready to download.
I have so many books I want to read or can read that when I come across one that will take longer than a couple of days, I simply fill up my time with other books that are more quickly accessible. But I read mostly physical books and I have noticed that the ebooks always seem to be on hold for awhile so I can see the frustration of waiting for someone to return it if they are done with it already.

On the side note, I did have the really weird fluke where I couldn't return the ebook. It was like it never registered that I had it on hold even though I could download it, and it wouldn't let me cancel or return it.
