Adrienne Sterne | 1 comments I’m 13 years old and all my life I’ve had a pretty fine relationship with my mom. Well lately it seems as if I can’t tell her stuff like I used to! For example if I told her I liked a really nice and cute boy, she would be fine with it! But for some reason I just CANT!! Help!!!!!

☁︎Grace☁︎ | 401 comments I’m going to have to pull the “this is just growing up” card. This happened to me when 13 or something around that happened. Honestly I say just keep trying to hold on to that relationship even if it feel like everything you do or say might change something within the relationship but i guaranteed it’s not. It’s literally just hormones and although it happens to everyone the outcome is very different for everyone. Like for myself I let myself think that my mom was against me and due to other life problems I no longer have the best relationship with my mother but it’s slowly repairing its self years later. Like today I was able to freely have a “crush” on a guy while she was around so that was cool. Idk if that makes sense it’s late lol. Pm me if you need anything

I can so relate to that, but you don't have to tell her that if you don't wanna. There's things that you could just keep for yourself or maybe tell your friends only. Trust me, when you get older you will def tell her a bunch of things since you seem rly close with her.
