Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 278 comments I've been pondering ways to raise awareness of a novel coming out in mid-October (available for pre-order), and wondered if I should add it to some lists. Is it too early, as potential readers can't yet "look inside" the book on Amazon or elsewhere? Or will it intrigue more people than it frustrates?

Thanks for any advice/opinions!

Mellie (mellie42) | 644 comments Don't. Lists are created by readers for other readers.

Authors are not allowed to add their own titles to lists as some are little better than spammers and add their titles to every list they can.

I suggest you make yourself familiar with Goodreads code of conduct and guidelines for authors about what you can/can't do.

Riya Chatterjee | 11 comments ✨ Hi everyone! ✨
I’m Riya Chatterjee, author of Journey of a Little Witch 🌙🪄 — a magical YA fantasy about Faye, a clumsy but brave young witch discovering her destiny, friendship, and first love, while facing the mysterious powers of the enchanted forest.

If you enjoy dark fantasy, adventure, magic, and slow-burn friendships-to-romance vibes, this book might be for you. 💜
