Bit'N Book Tours (bitnbooktours) | 2 comments Hello writers, readers and bloggers!

Bit'N Book Promoters is seeking out new recruits for their team and we need you! We're looking for people who can handle specific roles, are reliable, unattached to other blogs (except their own as long as they can handle the workload), and know they can realistically commit to working for us.

We are not paying our team for their services. However, we are all given opportunities to get free books from authors, giftcards etc.

To join us, you have to be passionate and want to bring something new to our team. We like people to be reliable, take the initiative whilst still keeping us informed and calling in to the mothership often.
You don't have to know how to do the roles below, but it would be preferred. If you're fast learners and are willing to jump in the deep end, that's fine by us! We all started from somewhere and have learned along the way.

We do not want full-time students or anyone who is unable to be reachable several days at a time. We have had many people in the past who haven't been reliable, have dropped in and out and haven't made much if any effort. We all have lives and jobs and need time out but we still drop in and we let everyone know what's happening.

Roles available are... (if you want to do more than one, we will consider it if you prove you can handle the workload)

Goodreads Guru

Controls all aspects of the Goodreads Bit'N profile such as updating bookshelves. The reviewers must always keep in touch with you and let you know what books they are currently reading, plan to read, to review, and have reviewed. You need to make sure reviews are posted on Goodreads and Amazon using the Bit'N account.
Another requirement will be that if we need a blog tour, book, promo or event promoted, you must be able to navigate through Goodreads groups easily and promote in them.
As the Goodreads Guru, you have to enjoy Goodreads, and you may already have a good platform on their already, know a few moderators and have a decent amount of friends. But that is not required for this role. We want someone who uses Goodreads regularly, who knows how to use it, and is happy to step into this role and help us out when we need it. It's your territory.

Twitter Monkey

We have a Twitter page and currently three of us post between us on it, but the three of us already have a huge amount of work so we need someone to be the main Twitter Monkey. You have to know how to use Twitter, and ENJOY using it.
As the Twitter Monkey, your will schedule tweets (using Twuffer for example) as well as posting on the fly.
Tweets will be a mixture of promos about blog tours, books, reviews, blog posts and also general socialising. You can really have fun with this and get creative. Tweet book or movie quotes, ask questions to get follower interaction. You are there to help with the necessary but boring promoting, but you're also there to be the socialite and build relationships between us and bloggers, authors and whoever wants to be our buddy. Be creative and have fun with it.

Review Ranger

As the Review Ranger, you will usually work alongside the Goodreads Guru as you'll be handling the reviews from our team. You are there to kick butt, keep informed on who is reviewing what, and keep an eye on what needs to be reviewed. We try to get reviews done within a three month time-frame so your job is to make sure we're kicked into shape. You don't have to be exact, but when there are a lot of reviews and people slacking, you're there to be the voice in our heads, motivating us and driving us on.
We have a doc in our Google Drive for you to use to keep tabs on reviews. But we want you to organise in your own way. Whatever makes you happy.
So the Ranger must be a good ass-kicker and organiser, or at least ENJOY doing both those things.

Blog Buddy

You will help manage our blog. Setting up posts, bringing in ideas for blog content, coming up with ways to get us out there. This is all about the blog and you have to be passionate and imagine this is just as special and important as your own blog.
We're always looking for new ideas and we like to learn, so if you think you have something to bring, then we wanna know.
You can also be a guest/regular blogger, with your own weekly, fortnightly, monthly slot.
This role is preferably for two people, but one person is enough if they're truly special and can happily handle this role.

All these roles are put in place so that we all have a set duty that is clearly laid out between us. It makes things easier. And the great thing is that the four main folks at Bit'N (Ice, Nancy, Ell & Matt) are able to work across all roles, should you need help.
You all of course are allowed to review books with us, and we would love if you helped contribute to our group blog posts which we discuss in our private FB group. It's fun and a great online hang out.

If you're interested in taking on any of these roles, please email us at bitn.book.promoters@gmail.com and title your email with the blog role/roles that you'd like to fill.
You can check us out at www.bitnbookpromoters.com and if you wish, have a look at our blog tour website at www.bitnbooktours.com

Merci beaucoup,

The Bit'N Team
