Ayunda (ayundabs) This is the place for you to nominate a book to read together next month! It can be from any kind of genre but keep in mind to nominate a book that will be interesting to read and discuss.
After we all pitch in and give our recommendations, the books will be listed on a poll for all the members to vote for and the book with most votes will be the May's Group Read!

avery ♞ do something revolutionary (averyreadsbooks) | 9 comments I like Paper Towns, but perhaps we could read The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller?

message 8: by Daryl (new)

Daryl H | 3 comments I like the idea of reading Paper Towns, since the movie is coming out in a couple of months. Perhaps we could read it, and then later discuss its similarities and differences to the movie.

Sara Houser (houserftway) | 7 comments Don't feel bad as am I. I'm currently reading the prey, which is awesome, but it's thicker so it's taking me awhile.

Jian (jianp) I'm in school at the moment and Goodreads is the only thing that isn't blocked XD
Is The Song of Achilles thick??? I don't know, I'm reading the PDF version :D

avery ♞ do something revolutionary (averyreadsbooks) | 9 comments Um, it's kind of medium, I read it in one day because 1) STAARs testing and tons of free time and 2) it's literally one of the greatest books I have ever read

Ayunda (ayundabs) I just bought Rose Madder by Stephen King at a secondhand bookstore and so I'm going to nominate that!

Ayunda (ayundabs) Thanks for all your nominations, now this topic is closed and you have until May 1st to vote for the book you want us to read together on May.
Also I hope you don't mind that I set the timezone for the poll deadline to GMT+7 (Jakarta) so it'll be easier for me to remember the deadlines.

Sarah (imsarouh) Hello, I'm sorry in advance if you've already answered that. But I'm new on here, so I don't really know how all of this works. Anyways, I was wondering what is the book we are supposed to read this month? :)
Thank you! :)
