I have a trilogy entitled "Chronicles of the Free People”. The Free People are born of magic while the world is being reborn. They have had to overcome the slaving raids as well as constant strife among their clans.
One hero rose, united the clans and used all the might and savagery they possessed to finally end the slave trade around them. Once they were free, they chose to blend back into the natural world they began in and live in peace.
The first book, "Fire At Dawn” details the events that broke the peace of the Free People. Age old friends call upon them for help in defeating the incarnation of evil that has set her eyes on the kingdom of men, Dagor. The Clans answer the call, but the hero is not as pure and noble as expected.

He carries a dark secret that may destroy the family he loves and prizes above life itself. The evil he must meet in battle knows his secret and she is relentless in her passion for destroying him. Their showdown comes at the top of a mountain that is being ripped apart by two powerful magics.
In the age tested tale of good vs. evil, honor and pride, and romance and revenge, the Free People look to their champion, Hellion, to rise above every obstacle and deliver them to peace once again.
