What were you most shocked about in this book?

For me, I was shocked by how violent the book was. The lion to me is the worst enemy in this entire book and one character is brutally killed by the Lion and there's nothing you can really do to stop the Lion from doing this either. Also one character gets killed with acid which was pretty cruel too.

What do you think was the most shocking part in this book?

A lot of the book shocked me! Dorothy's dressing behavior, the kissing scene (I'm actually still shocked whenever I read that), the cliffhanger, and Jellia. She just seemed like a really nice maid!
