2017 Reading Challenge discussion

This one hasn't actually come out as a movie yet but it's due for release later this year. This book was not quite as good as the first book. Some of the elements seemed a bit more disjointed as the plot moved along and there are still so many unanswered questions but not bad for a sequel. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more development to the secondary characters. I really like Minho and Newt but they barely played key roles this time around. More time was spent on forcing Thomas into a love triangle (or square if you want to get picky) with Brenda and Theresa (and Aris). I am, however, looking forward to the movie to see how they adapt some of these things.
