      ~ Mother’s Day Challenge - May 2015 ~

This May we’ve given you several ways to celebrate Mother’s Day. Please join us in one - or all!

DURATION: May 1st - May 31st, 2015

LEVELS:

1-2 - Easy
3-5 - Medium
6-9 - Harder
10 or more - Hardest

OPTION #1 RULES:
Play “Mother, May I?” with us. Choose as many of the letter as you can and read a book corresponding to a category. You may substitute any letter twice by choosing to read a letter the old-fashioned way (title, author, etc.). In addition, you may choose two “Reader’s Choice” or “Wild Card” Birthday Babies books to replace a letter. If you want to lower your goal (from 10 books to 7), try spelling “Mom, May I?" In this case, you may use either “M” listed.

M. - “M” is for “mom.” Read a book where the heroine gets pregnant.
O. - The letter “O” often stands for a hug (i.e. “XO” for “Kisses & Hugs.”)
        So, read a book where a couple is hugging on the cover.
T. - “T” is for the “trouble” you got into as a kid. Read a book where the
        heroine gets into trouble of some sort.
H. - “H” is for “Heart.” Read a book that touches your heart.
E. - “E” is for “Eternal Love.” Read a Paranormal Romance book where
        the lovers find this.
R. - “R” is for “Reliable.” Read an author who hasn’t yet failed to make
        you happy.

        been pondering.
A. - “A” is for “Almost.” Read a book that is the last in a series
        (thus far is acceptable).
Y. - “Y” is for “Youth.” Read a Young Adult book.

OPTION #3 RULES (Spell-It-Out):
Our Spell-It-Out rules apply here. Spell out anything that reminds you of May or Mother. Select your mom’s name or your favorite flower, or something pertaining to May and Spell-It-Out. Read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with letters that correspond to letters of the word you choose. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.).

Finished 4 Books so far for this challenge and got really lucky. 3 out of 4 were 5 star books for me (which is pretty rare). I loved newly released Midnight's Kiss, the new book in Thea Harrison's Elder Races, I also LOVED, Lick a book I heard was good so I gave it a shot even though it isn't something I'd normally go looking for. I also re-read an old favorite The Bride which was just as good 20 years later! I also read Connor's Gamble which was good but not the caliber of book that the first three were.
