But it isn't the monster Conor's been expecting. He's been expecting the one from his nightmare, the one he's had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments, the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming...
This monster is something different, though. Something ancient, something wild. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor.
I loved it.. Simply loved it... (view spoiler)[ Don't you think every story taught US a lesson as well. Who was your favorite character ? And was any whom you detested ?
I loved the ending very painfully. Did it make you cry ? Which was your favorite scene from all. And what did you make of Harry's character ?
Me too... <3 (view spoiler)[ Yes, it did. I was expecting the stories to be straight forward, and simple, but I was shocked when the monster explained his reasons. Powerful stories, those were :)
I don't cry while reading. Can't. But I felt like I was punched in the gut. Never felt that while reading before. My version of crying, I guess. What about you?
Hmmm, this whole book was a favorite scene. To choose one, I'd say the scene where Conor is forced to confess the truth. Killed me, that scene.
If only it was bigger, we'd have learnt more about people like Harry, and Conor's grandma, who intrigued me. Harry was said to be intelligent, wasn't he? I guess he figured out Conor. (hide spoiler)]

It wants the truth.
