I ABSOLUTELY HATE HIM TOO!!! he is the most annoying character in the books, no i take that back he is the most annoying, Idiotic, and insensitive fictional character i have ever read about and i read A LOT!!!

I would have to say I dislike him in some ways too but i have come to a decision, he is ok sometimes but again at other times id like to hurt him

I don't know what some people see in him, I mean i know he is a fictional character and im probably over reacting but he sooo gets on my nerves!!!

I don't Hate him but i don't exactly like him either. He's really imatura and needs to do some serious growing up.

He is an idiot for not realising that if bella couldn't tell she was in love with him because her love for edward is greater than what she feels for jakob.

The only reason he hates vampires is because he was told to. If he would just get over that, and realize that Bella will love him as more than a friend, he wouldn't be so bad. Besides, he is younger than Bella, he doesn't know better yet, JK!

Let me try to explain..

People love Jacob b/c his efforts don't work. Even though he tries, he doesn't win, and his efforts are cute and sincere. I like him because he is like a sun.

He is awesome execpt for the fact that he almost killed Bella at her own B-Day!

Okay, so ya'll hate Jacob. Does that mean then you have no issues with Edward? You don't find it kinda freaky that he could be her great-grandfather. Or the fact that he's extremely controling? Yes, romantic and protective - I'll give you. But I think both have their flaws.

Edward isn't controlling. And i don't hate Jacob, but i don't like him very much either

Jacob was way better before he was a werewolf, now he's just an ass.

And Edward is not controlling, he's just crazy in love and doesn't want something bad to happen to Bells. I mean how many times has Edward explained that in the book.

I like both of them, ok? Edward manipulated Bella as much as Jacob by letting her choose, and giving her freedom, and saying its ok not to pick him. And making her feel bad with all his sinerity and selflesness. Reverse phsycology (spelling off) duh.

But still I feel bad for every 1 in this triangle of Love/hate.

SERIOUSLY!!!!! He really gets on my nerves! He tried to split Edward and Bella on purpose and now since he 'ran away', he is going to ruin Bella's happy ending, i swear!

yeah, he must really have a death wish then because if Edward ever does get hold of him, well......

Jacob will ruin the most perfect wedding and then that gives both Alice and Edward a reason to finally give Jacob what he deserves!

I don't Hate Jacob... I feel bad for him...It supposedly gives Edward the right to be controling because he loves her so much but although Jacob doesn't love her as much as Edward... he still loves her a lot. Jacob won't ruin the wedding...he wouldn't do that to Bella...and it would hurt him too much to be there anyway.

How can you feel sorry for him when he's the cause of all the trouble. If he thought things out instead of being so impulsive he would be able to figure a way to make things work out.

ok. I must sat that yall are crazy. I mean, he's 16 for crying out loud! How is he supposed to know how to handle things like this? Edward's been around for more than 100 years! Of course he's going to have more knowledge in that department! YEESH!

I'm 16 too, but then again he is a guy so it's bound to take him forever to learn.

Well so long as he is never sent to britain :) i don't care where he goes, but i can see it now he's gonna be in breaking dawn right till the very end and he is gonna get even more annoying

Don't be so harsh! While Edward left Bella ( which broke her heart) Jacob was the only one there for her. He helped her get back on track. She was more than miserable until Jacob was nice to her and became her friend. Without Jacob Bella would have been sent to a mental hospital.

Sorry i can be very harsh sometimes, I've been reading Eclipse again and im really starting to change my mind about him, he was there for Bella so he does deserve some credit........ but he still annoyes me a little bit.....

Jacob behaves like he's 16. Edward like an old, wise bachelor - which he is. Both take very different approaches to winning and keeping Bella. Edward has been around a looonnnng while and knows better which approach stands a better chance - Jacob takes the typical teen boy straight on approach. Although I think Edward is romantic, they are both playing at winning Bella. Both care deeply for her and both want her happy - each thinking he can do the better job. So, just don't hate on one or buy totally into the other. Jacob thinks he loves her, but discounts he hasn't bonded yet --- Edward knows this and fears for her. But in their own minds, they each think they are doing what's best for her.

As someone who deeply and intensly loves (the ever foolish) Jacob Black, you are all offending me! Yes, Jacob is selfish. Yes, Jacob is foolish. Yes, Jacob needs to let Bella go. But honesly, Bella is just as annoying, foolish, selfish as Jacob is. (And I love Bella!) Does anyone remember a certain kiss in Eclipse? Ahem. She isn't perfect, and even though she deeply and truly loves Edward, we find her making out with Jacob.

Here's the thing. The way most people fall in love is not the Edward/Bella way. That's why this story is so great. It's everyone's dream. But, in all actuality, the way Bella and Jacob are together is a very sweet, enduring kind of love. Different, yes. But no worse than the kind that her and Edward share.

So give Jacob a break. He's in love with someone he can't have. I'm pretty sure most people have/will be in that position.

Jacob loves Bella so much that he refuses to let her go. Can't you see? Bella needs a man/wolf/vampire that can fight for her and that is exactly why Jacob deserves her more, because like Melanie said, Edward will let her do what she wants. THat is proof that he is not willing to fighht with Jacob for her.

Man, Melanie, I was just agreeing with Morgan. You didn't have to tell me to shut up.

Ok, listen, I'm not saying that Bella and Jake should be together. I'm a total Edward + Bella person! I'm just tryin to say that Jake doesn't know what he's doing. Yes, he is in love with Bella, but he just doesn't know that Bella is not 'the one'. Even though he is annoying at times, he is still sweet.

Samreen, I don't hate him. I don't hate anybody in the Twilight series..... except for Mike. ;)

First of all, Edward didn't just give up on fighting for Bella. He told Jacob he would be fighting just as hard if not harder! And he loves her more because he wants her to be as happy as possible, and if he wasn't in the picture but she was happy he would let her go. Edward deserves Bella so much more than Jacob! Edward respects her more, cares more for her, and much much more!

Sorry i took so long Melanie, (stupid internet):) I'm definately on your side all the way, But unfortunately against my better judgement he is starting to become only a LITTLE bit less annoying, but thats only because im reading Eclipse again and i'm beginning to understand him more......

oh and bella is a bit of a daft bat but shes the likeable kind of daft bat, unlike Jake who is just simply obnoxious

you know, the funny thing about jake is that everybody would have liked him just fine if he hadn't started making passes at bella. poor bella. but Jake is a really good best friend figure. Even if he is a dirty, cunning little sucker who despises Edward, which is unforgivable. (/.~)

Jacob is just a cool guy who happened to fall in love with the wrong girl (and become a werewolf). He always loses everything, and his feelings are just a little more raw than Edward's. He's cool!

Even though Edward cannot be beat!!!!!!!! It's toooo bad it had to end the way it did with him and Bella ... and it is seriously gross that he doesn't give up.

yes, the blackmailing is awful!!! It totally messed up his sunny perfect image and I can't believe (emphasis here) that Bella took so long to Punch him. I would have damaged him permanently when he blackmailed her into kissing him. UGH! XP.
