That's awesome!
I will admit to being unimpressed by the clothes that Diana wears in ADoW. As if she's tamping down her magic/personality by being drab. I love that the clothes in SoN are more lavish--even if she does prefer wearing Matthew's leggings.

What puts me off the clothing of 1590's is all the layers - mind you with no central heating etc they would come in useful, especially as I am one of those people who gets cold easily.

How fun! I adore flapper-era clothes.
The layers would be lovely in the winter, but what did they do in the summer? I bet fainting was a daily hazard.

I too love flapper era clothes but unfortunately for the film I was a fish gutter lady, so it was scratchy Harris tweed full length skirts, heavy tights, very uncomfortable boots, heavy blouse, shawl and scarf as the scene I was in was a wee free church of Scotland service!!!!! So not very glamorous lol.

Ha! Well, I imagine that's how most real people of the era really dressed.

I am also wondering if anyone knows where I can get a copy of the commonplace book that was put out as a promotion. ( I'm in Alberta, Canada.).

Kristy, you can follow @penguinpbks on Twitter. They'll be offering it there--and at some of Deb's events--as a giveaway in the coming weeks.
