Stephanie Ackerman Hi everyone! What books do we have this month?

I'm reading The Architect's Apprentice - a book I picked up purely by chance at the fiction desk because it had a beautiful cover and in the past I've really enjoyed Middle Eastern fiction. It's set in sixteenth century Turkey and is about an elephant keeper in the sultan's palace. Very absorbing so far!

I'm also reading Bad Girls & Wicked Women: The Most Powerful, Shocking, Amazing, Thrilling and Dangerous Women of All Time, a collected biography of notorious femme fatale throughout history. Extremely interesting and is perfect for dipping in and out of!

What does everyone else have this month? My to-read list is growing exponentially (sigh) but I'm always keen for a good recommendation!

Erica I'm halfway through Postmortem. My first Patricia Cornwell crime novel. It's pretty engaging and easy to read.
No idea what I'm going to read next though...perhaps the next one in the series or Heart of Coal by NZ author Jenny Pattrick (I read the first book in the series: the Denniston Rose, a year or so ago and really liked it)

Erica I've just this morning started reading Dear Vincent by Mandy Hager...so far so good. Looks like it's going to be an impressive kiwi YA fiction novel.
