I recently finished No Way Down: Life and Death on K2. This is not my first travel book, having read Tracks by Robyn Davidson, and a few others that are not so recent.
This is however, the first travel book that I have read that covers a tragedy. I was a bit taken aback that it was labeled as travel. The popular books are not the travel books in my opinion. Does anyone else read travel books? Do people talk about travel books anymore? I know with travel blogs and other social media, it's much easier to get a glimpse of other areas but is it the same?

Has anyone read No Way Down? Thoughts?
