History:Valerie used to be like any other kid who loved her family more than anything and was very optimistic and naïve. Her family have been serving the royal family for many years. Her parents were killed in a rebel attack leaving her to live with her grandparents when she was 6 years old. Signs of her poor vision became apparent as she became older and eventually was diagnosed with Retinal. She lived with her grandparents taking care of them in their olden age as she grew up and became a low maid for the palace the age of 15 when she was old enough to work for them. Her grandfather was the first to pass from a heart attack when she was 17 and her grandmother died the next year from natural causes. Left all alone in the world 18 year old Valerie had suicidal thoughts not wanting to be all by herself in the world anymore. Luckily she convinced herself out of that state of mind, but her depression and thoughts of suicide still haunt her in the back of her mind. Valerie has moved up and is now able to serve the royal family and the , but has no plans for the future other than being a maid for the palace until her time runs out for her eyesight and she is left blind in her dark world.

History: On the day she was born before her mother died she told her father as her dying wish was to name their child Poppy since those were the flowers that her father had brought her that day. Her father carried out that wish after her mother died morning her death ever since. He never blamed Poppy for her mother's death because she was the only family left he had left. History: On the day she was born before her mother died she told her father as her dying wish was to tell their child that he know how much mother loved him and for his father to take of him. His father has carried out that wish ever sense the day of his mother's. He never blamed Scott for his wife's death because he was the only family left he had left. Thomas, Scott's father, has been a five all his life since he is a popular performer on a piano for any event. His father decided to teach her Gaelic as his first language because he wanted his son to speak fluent Gaelic just like he had did. In primary school he learned how to speak English at school since it was required to learn. Scott began to realize at a young age that he loved doing arts and crafts. His father began to realize his talent once he brought home a beautiful panting that he had created for art. Since they needed the money his father began to enter his painting into art competitions at a young age. By the age of 17 he was a popular, young artist and his masterpieces were show cased in art exhibitions and sold to some very rich people. His father secretly taught him all about the caste system and politics and how people were treated unfairly in their country since a very young age. His father had hoped that one day the caste system could be abolished and actually stay abolished. Scott had heard about the Selection contest taking place for the princess and his friends convinced him that he should enter and maybe the princess would pick him out of hundreds of guys. Next thing he knew he was being informs that he had been in fact been chosen and his life was suddenly flipped upside down.
