ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) This topic needs to be moved. This heading is for the James Potter series of books.

O-kay..........?

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) Ella, an entire heading was set aside to discuss the James Potter books which were picked for the book of the month reads here. All the discussions concerning these books were set aside in a category labeled James Potter so as not to confuse people who havn't read the JP books. The topic that the person wanted to discuss here, belongs to a regular HP category, which in fact, a thread on this subject already exists.

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) Yes Ella. There is an entire category discussing the new James Potter books. They follow Harry's oldest son as he joins Hogwarts. They are well written by G. Norman Lippert. They are fanfiction and he gives them away free as ebooks. JKR doesn't mind as long as he doesn't make money off of them and they are appropriate for children. (He's contacted her agents.)

There are two full novels available now:

James Potter and the Hall of Elders' Crossing
James Potter and the Curse of the Gate Keeper

A third novel, James Potter and the Vault of Destinies will be available Jan 1st, 2010. He'll start releasing a chapter a day. Once all chapters are out individually, he'll release them as a full novel.

You can get them here:
http://www.jamespotterseries.com/

There are also several short stories that involve the Maurader's and the Founders.

The group here picked the JP novels for their book-of-the-month reads this fall.

Ah, this is all so confusing....

ஐ Katya (Book Queen)ஐ (katyabookqueen) I don't think so. It's just a new series of books that follow after the originals, written by a fan.

Matt Wells | 32 comments Sometimes I've question the thought of Harry dying, yet it just seems wrong lol. Him living is sort of a more happy ending for his troubled life.
