Surprisingly this is actually a book from the Marty collection! Maybe I can get him to come to this discussion.

I'm disappointed I had to miss this discussion. (I get headaches all the time, which is why you almost never see me in The Snug.) I can honestly say I would never have read this book if not for Genre X. I would have taken one look at the name Hiro Protagonist and put it back on the shelf. I eventually got really caught up in the plot, although I thought the futuristic world and vocabulary got in the way.

Its really nice to hear that genre X got inspired you to read something you normally wouldn't, Sandi! Hiro's name was actually a hot topic during our discussion, as people seemed to have strong feelings on both sides about it. I'm sorry to hear about the headaches (I get migraines too, so I can kinda relate), but I hope one day we WILL see you in the Snug. :)
