1. Well I think it's because the others would want that ability too and so would go to great lengths to aquire it, even thought it is possible that he's like this because he bit jace a shadowhunter and drank his blood. So it could be bad if they started to go after the shadowhunters, possible killing them. Also I think it's because they're all scared of change because it has been the same way for so long.
2. Well I don't think that Jace was the one drinking the angels blood, it was his mother while she was carrying him. Because Valentine was experomenting with it and gave it to her to help her I think, and when she killed herself he took Jace. I think but I could be wrong on this one I don't remember for sure.
3. Okay, this is definetly a loaded question. If you just want to know the name that he would have because of who his parents were then it would be Herondale. But if you want to know what his name is because of who really cared for him and loved him it would have to be Lightwood because they may not be his real parents and familly in blood but in the way that really matters, love, they are and so I think that he would consider himself a Lightwood

i have a question: When Simon bit Jace in COA, how come nothing happened to Jace? I mean he didn't turn into a vampire. Nor died. Is it because he has angel blood? or because he offered his blood rather than forcely drank?

In the TMI world, you become a vamp once you intake vamp blood. The vamps would then drain you to the point of almost dead, then bury you. You'll rise then you're a vamp with fangs, do not sparkle in the sun (cannot even be out in the sun...apart from Simon) and drinks blood. :)

yea need to drink blood be bitten die get buried then claw your way out

also simon stoped before it got to bad and Jace used a healing iratze so he got better soon or else he probaly would have been down for a little while

hahaha. yeah. like awhile ago, i was watching Vampire Diaries, and last week, I read the House of Night series. and not to mention True Blood and ofcourse Twilight. too many vampire stories.... very very very confusing!

yeah, she's trying to find her brother in London. she's also a warlock, but she doesn't know that in the beginning.

so it is like mortal instruments but with warlocks

there are shadowhunters still in the books, the two main guy characters are both shadowhunters. William Herondale and Jem something, i don't remember.

It could be cool to hear about the warlocks world, and their equivalent to the Mortal Instruments. If the herondale's are involved I'm sure there will be mention on what exactly the birthmark is/came from.
