Lynnette's book is great. I would recommend it.
my favourite authors are Gilbert Morris, Mary Coneally, M.L.Tyndall, Cheryl Wyatt to name a few. love Tracie peterson and Lori Wick also.

Nice to see you here. I really like M. L. Tyndall too. I was sad to hear that she won't be doing any more pirate books in the near future.

Welcome!
Ive read most of Jeanette Oke's books along time ago ~ and recently Ive been reading the Love Inspired line. I like the Contemporary ones, and have started my first Love Inspired Historical book. I like Lyn Cote and Janet Tronstad to name a couple of authors. :)

Jennifer, Karen Kingsbury is also one of my favs.

I agree with your comment "the hardest part of reading is deciding which book to read next". Since I joined paperbackswap a couple of years ago..I have a very large to be read list! lol

I agree. I have so many that I want to read, that deciding where to start is the challange. I'm usually in the middle of reading 2 or 3 books. :)
I do that with my writing too. I work on one story for awhile, then I move to another one until I get another bit of inspiration about the first story. :)

I made a group for her on here since there wasn't one! I actually just got her Shades of Blue for my birthday. I'm excited to read it.

I'll look forward to hearing what you have to say about Shades of Blue - I haven't read that one yet.

Yes, Francine Rivers! I can't wait for her next book to come out. I think it is called Roaring Waters or Raging Waters or something similar to that. But I don't know when it is slated to be available. I'm sure it will be good.
Lori Wick is a great author! I read a some of her historical books back in high school. I need to pick up some of her newer books.

I just joined and am so excited to find a group dedicated to Christian romance! Like Melissa I've also read most of Jeanette Oke's books, as well as Grace Livingston Hill from a long time ago. I also love Nicholas Sparks romance novels. Recently a friend shared her copy of Moon Dance, and I discovered a new favorite author in Susan K. Earl. The book had all the elements I enjoy, and the characters are endearing. It was such an easy read that I just couldn't put down. I hope I can find more great recommendations like this from you guys!

I got to say that my favorites include Karen Kingsbury, MaryLu Tyndall, and Kacy Barnett-Gramckow.
Hopefully I can get some more Christian novel recommendations from you all. I have read over 1000 books and hope to read more.

What other kinds of books do you enjoy? Sounds like we have some books in common. =)

I love those series!

I agree she is a great author!
I agree she is a great author!

It's hard to make a book review local, and my editor suggested that I tell the reader where to buy the books in the area. I'd like to give the smaller bookstores a chance at getting some new customers. So where do you buy Love Inspired, Silhoutte, and other Christian books? I'm not shopping for books. My mother lives out in the country, and belongs to a mail order club. she gives me the books when she's done with them.

Some of my favorite authors are: Bodie Thoene, Francine Rivers, Linda Windsor, Jeanette Windle, & Linda Chaikin. (I'll stop there - the list could go on and on! lol)
