I was wondering if anyone could comment on how Elizabeth & Darcy operated as a husband & wife team here. I don't read many mysteries, so I don't have many comparisons. Did their partnership make for a realistic mystery?

I think it was very realistic as far as these types of light mysteries go. The relationship between Darcy and Lizzie was kept intact; they didn't deviate from what I expected as a pair. I liked the way that Anne misinterpreted Lizzie's advice concerning Crawford's offer at the ball. Good tweak to drive the action of the story.

I think Bebris kept them believable too. A lot of what is good about the original characters of Darcy and Elizab. is that they gain a lot of mutual respect for each other. I guess when you start with two really well drawn characters like that, it would be easy to think of them in some different type of plot like a detective story.
