I have never read anything by Sue Grafton. I was wondering if you need to start at the beginning of the series or if each novel pretty much can stand alone?

I wouldn't ever recommend jumping into a series midway, but that's me. I guess each novel can stand on its own, but Kinsey Millone's background and life story is told throughout the books, so you would definitely miss out on that.

I agree- I like to start at the beginning, but man that is 21 more books I will have to add to my TBR pile! UGH! (lol) I guess I will pick up the first one next time I am at the library and see what I think and then take it from there.
