Stormhawk's COMPLETED 100 in 2010 and still reading...

I received several children's books as gifts this year, and they are starting me off!
1 If You Give a Moose a Muffin - Laura Joffe Numeroff
2 Nobody Wants a Nuclear War Story and Pictures - Judith Vigna
3 Sootface - Robert SanSouci
4 A Boy Called Slow - Joseph Bruchas
(don't worry, I'm making up for the lack of page count here by reading The System of the World, part 3 of Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle.)

Devil in the White City was a much tighter story ... the two stories in Thunderstruck are linked only vaguely (wireless communication plays a part in the end), and the race to achieve Trans-Atlantic communication was nowhere near as exciting as the race to open the World Columbian Exposition on time. Also, I didn't come away with much in the way of understanding the hows and whys radio works ... I thought that would have been explained further. There were fewer details of Crippen's life and crimes available in comparison to HH Holmes. So, I liked it, but not as much.

Do you plan to read all seven? Is this your first time reading them?
By the way, I'm not sure of the proper etiquette when it comes to these threads. I thought this would be the easiest place to catch you, but if you prefer I not comment in this thread I'd be happy to oblige.

The Wikipedia page on the Chronicles of Narnia does a very good job of explaining the "controversy."
19 Prince Caspian - C.S. Lewis

27 Help! Mom! Hollywood's in My Hamper! - Katharine DeBrecht
28 Help! Mom! The 9th Circuit Nabbed the Nativity - Katharine DeBrecht

(Hard to believe it's not even halfway through the year and I'm halfway through the challenge!)
