Eldar (eldarc) | 2 comments Hi Everyone,

Huge lost fan here. I just joined this group today. I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions of real books out there that are similar to the Lost style. I would have loved nothing more but to read this massive volume of Lost in book form because I think it would have been very captivating. Any suggestions would be great!

IM sorry... I am not sure I understand your question. What do you mean by "real books similar to Lost"?

Eldar (eldarc) | 2 comments I mean actual books with Lost type plot line and style. I don't mean books read by Lost characters like Sawyer for example. For example any book you've read where you can say "it's like watching lost".

Thanks!

I cant think of anything I have read that is lost-like, except Lord of the Flies, which is actually on the Lost Lit List because it heavily influenced the show.

Luann (azbookgal) | 97 comments Although not once while reading Lord of the Flies did I think, "It's like watching Lost!" I know some here have liked it, but I just didn't like Lord of the Flies all that much.

Another book that has heavily influenced the show is The Stand. But I'm not sure it fits the "like watching Lost" criteria, either.

Knarik I don't know if it will fit your criteria, but "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown was interesting. you can try it, although not his other books.

Philip (philiphabecker) | 63 comments I second The Stand. I felt like I was watching LOST while reading it.

You really need to just check out the LOST list though. There is almost always a reason people are reading the books they're reading... When I read Slaughter House Five I didn't feel like I was watching LOST the series, but there were points I felt like I was watching a particular episode.

Dick | 1 comments I am reading Under the Domeby King now. It feels very Lost. Good V Evil. Great "Cast". Mystery. I know king is a Lost fan and I get that vibe from this book.
