We all know the vampires in the "Twilight" series have unsual powers...

* ALICE can see the future.
* EDWARD reads minds.
* JANE can inflict pain.
* JASPER can control emotions/feelings.

If Bella changes into a vampire, what do you think her power (or special "talent") will be?

Have you met Stephenie?? What was she like? Did you get an autograph? Tell us about it here!

Kate (katespofford) I went to a book signing last September in Burlington, MA... I didn't realize there would be about 600 people there, and I was kind of late, so I had to listen from the first floor as Stephenie did a Q&A from the second floor, then wait in a line for about 1 1/2 hours to get my books signed. I was kind of nervous and didn't say much since I was there by myself, but she seemed really nice (especially since she'd already signed books for mot of those people... talk about risk of carpal tunnel!). I got my hardcover of Twilight signed and then a paperback of Twilight & hardcover of Eclipse for my friend. I was in such awe!

Here's a link to my blog entry about it so you can see some pictures.

Hilary (hilary_cullen) | 9 comments That is so awesome Katie! I really want to go to her book signing! I heard from somewhere, though, that she would only sign one copy of her books...I'm glad that isn't true! I want all mine signed!

Kate (katespofford) She only signed one book with a personalized message, but all got the signature. But from what I heard about her signings for The Host, you have to get tickets now (probably to avoid the same kind of mob scene). I'm still hoping she'll come back to New England so I can see her again!

Michelle (michelleellen) She's coming to my town in August!! I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait.....

Katilyn | 3 comments I have a couple ideas....
I think something about her not liking the smell of blood might have something to do with it like she won't be crazy like the other newborns because she hates the smell.......or something

Brittany (celticrockchic) | 19 comments Well, since she isn't affected by some of the other's powers maybe she'll be able to block them. For example, let's say Jane is trying to torture someone, maybe Bella will be able to block that pain from getting to the person Jane is trying to hurt. It's a theory.

Michelle (michelleellen) Ooh, Brittany, I love your theory!

Madeleine Anna Cynthia (maddz) | 19 comments I agree with Brittney, except she will be able to block out ALL of anyonyone's powers.

Brittany (celticrockchic) | 19 comments Hey, it's just the direction I would have gone if I had wrote the book.

Kayla | 5 comments I was talking with my friend about this one and we came up another theory. Bella is really different from people with the blood and powers not working thing. Anyway, we thought that Bella might have the power to turn a vampire back into human. Personally, I think I like Edward better as a vampire. But it's just a theory we came up with.

Brittany (celticrockchic) | 19 comments I can't believe I was right! I thought it was where I would have went with the book but I really didn't think that my theory would be correct!
