How do you think the series will end?

Will Bella choose Edward? Will she become a vampire? Will one or both of them die?

Die? Neither one of them better die! That had never even crossed my mind. As far as what I think will happen I have no idea. Meyer has done a very good job of surprising and twisting things so far, I'm sure the last installment will be no different.

Now as far as what I want to happen: Bella and Edward should get married, finally fulfill Edward's promise to Bella, and then the change. But that would probably be way too easy, and let's face it, Jacob will probably make a scene of sorts. It's what he's good at.

All I know for sure is that I cannot wait to read Breaking Dawn.

whatever happens, the must end up together. and i think bella will become a vampire, too.

Well I reread Twilight last night and in it Bella finds out that Alice has already seen her becoming a vampire in the future. She's in the hospital with Edward after surviving James and they have the cutest dialogue. She's basically asking him to change her and he's saying no. So she says, "I'm betting on Alice." So I think that means she'll eventually become a vampire. Otherwise, their love story wouldn't have a happy ending because Bella would eventually die and leave Edward heartbroken. It'll be like Romeo & Juliet, only after they both "die" they are reborn as vampires. Edward's already there, Bella just needs to be turned now.

I will admit I haven't read this entire thread, but I think Stephanie did a great job of setting it up so that Bella can choose either Jacob or Edward or neither. She's already made it clear that Alice can only see the futures that people have made decisions to pursue and Bella is so set on becoming a vampire. But..... what is something changes in B.D.?

Plus, no one says it has to end happily with true love winning -- just look at what Libba Bray did to Gemma and Kartik........

I think Edward will die, Jacob will say he never REALLY did love Bella, and Bella will grow old alone with fourty cats. mwahahahah!

(also the whole Gemma Kartik thing made me soooo sad : ( *cry*)

i hope that bella does become a vamp cuz then i can see what stephenie meyer thinks Bella's power should b(if she will get one)

do you think that all vamp's have a power but it has to develop??

however it ends, I hope it's happy and resolved. honestly I think if Bella doesn't end up with Edward there will have to be a drastic twist in Bella's character in the book (like amnesia). And I agree with -Mikeala!- I want Bella to be a vampire so I can find out what her power is :)

I agree perfectly with Jenna!!!!!!That is exactly what will happen! I have lnly read the 1st book of the gemma Doyle, so none of that here. PLEASE!!!!!!My friends ALWAYS ruin things for me, maybe because I spiol it for them twice as muchk but still...I want to find out for myself what happenes to Gemma....

Well duh! Bella is ofcourse giong to transform in to a vampire if not I will SUE Stephenie Meyer....

This is what I want to happen: Edward will turn Bella into a vampire, they will get married, and live happily ever after. Jacob will get his nose out of Bella's business and go find some other girl to imprint on.

Hopefully all that will happen. If Bella doesn't end up with Edward, I will go and HUNT stephenie meyer down.

Yeah, I think the general opinion is, "Bella had better become a vampire and end up with Edward or there will be hell to pay." I do want a happy ending for Jacob though. She had better end the book with him happy in some way as well.

So do I. Has anyone read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn? If you have, it doesn't look like he will. And am I alone in thinking that the killer in the preface is Jacob?

I also hope Jacob imprints on someone and has a happy ending. I know someone who likes to rile Twilight fans up by suggesting that Edward will sacrifice himself to save Bella... I really hope that doesn't happen!

I have not read the 1st chapter of Breaking Dawn, but looking at the cover makes me want to throw out some theories, like possibly the Volturi will come back and have a problem (like there will be some kind of vampire "queen") with the Cullens turning Bella into a vampire, or maybe the wolf pack will wage war on them since it breaks the treaty (possibly if whereever Jacob ran off to only made him more angry). The cover seems to have more significance than some of the other covers, or at least more that can be interpreted!

I think Bella and Edward will definitely get married, but it is the Turning that I am not sure will happen.

I'm wondering about the Turning part myself...although that definitely would put an end to the series, don't you think?
