Intertwined is a novel by Gena Showalter that centers on teenager Aden Stone who lives his life with 4 souls sharing his head. 4 souls with abilities. One can time travel, one can see the future, one possess bodies and one raises the dead.
Things start getting interesting for Aden when he meets Mary Ann who negates his power. He's drawn to her for reason's he doesn't understand and soon the two begin a journey together that will change everything they know.
Throw in the steamy, forbidden romances between Aden and the vampire princess Victoria and Mary Ann and the sexy werewolf Riley, this is a SERIOUSLY GOOD BOOK!!!
I totally recommend!!!!

Ok first off... if we're gonna chat abt it we need to let people know who haven't read it that we're gonna post spoiler ok??

****may contain spoilers!!****

The back of the book WAS really misleading. I seriously thought that Aden and Mary Ann were gonna be involved and then Riley and Victoria were gonna be evil and try and steal them away from each other, but it wasn't like that :S

Mary Ann and Riley were my fave. They were so cute and i loved how he was so protective over her. I was so like awwwwww.... totally adorable!

It's really good. Defiantly let us know what you think about it.
Yes, i do know about the sequel. I CANNOT WAIT until it comes out. I think there will be more books in the series than just two tho....

message 12: by Ashara (new)

Ashara | 567 comments I KNOW!! about the sequel and it's goodness. Is that a word:S?? anyway, yer, i hope there's like, 3 more books., you know, one per soul. but i doubt it. lol

Here's a small excerpt for the 3rd book Twisted:

It doesn't give much away, but it still has me craving Twisted!

I'm sobbing cos i don't wanna have to wait for Twisted!!!
Far too long a wait!

message 21: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FREAKING SEPTEMBER NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!
Way, way too long..... i want it so much, after the way Unraveled ends.
You'll see once you read it ;)

message 23: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) ..... Maybe I should wait a while though to read Unraveled. That way it won't be a huge pain to wait! Gah. I hate waiting.

message 24: by Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten), Temporarily in charge =) (new)

Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten) (rachybee) | 2391 comments Mod
Ditto.
And there's so many series to wait for too, which just adds to the frustration....

message 25: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I'm just glad there are constantly books coming out that can occupy my time while I wait for the other books. But I hate it when it's like a year wait in-between books!

message 26: by Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten), Temporarily in charge =) (new)

Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten) (rachybee) | 2391 comments Mod
Yeah, i hate that too. Plus it seems like they all come out around the same time, so then you get bombarded and don't know what to read.
I have a few ongoing series's that i'm dying for. I just read other books/series in the space between books.

message 27: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Ugh. I hate it when that happens. Especially when you've been looking forward to reading them all and then they get an early release and you suddenly have twenty-odd books on your plate and don't know which one to read! O_o
Haha. I just hate the wait. I know how long it takes to write and edit a novel-but I still wish that there was a way to make it all quicker! :P

I know! I fnd it hard, cos sometimes i'll be reading something, but itching to start something else. I don't really like reading more than one book at a time cos i fnd it hard to focus.

That's so true! You still want it to come out sooner though.

message 29: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I can kind of read two books at once. Depends on the books and my mood. Sometimes I'll be reading a book that I'm not really into and I'll pick up another book, finish that one, and then go back to the first book.

Sometimes, I wish I could hack into their computers without them knowing and read it. I wouldn't care about all the mistakes, cause I WANT IT!!!

message 30: by Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten), Temporarily in charge =) (new)

Rachel (The Rest Is Still Unwritten) (rachybee) | 2391 comments Mod
I can do it, but i prefer not to. I do exactly the same! Sometimes if i'm reading something that i'm not quite into, i'll take a break and read something else then get back to it. Otherwise i begin to resent the book.

Oooh. I'd be all on board with that. I wouldn't care about the mistakes either =)

message 31: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I don't resent or not finish a lot of books, so it's a big surprise for mum to see me stop reading a book. I threw Chosen at the wall in the lounge room when I got up to a certain scene. So stupid those books!!! And they actually get published and they're total shit. Sorry for the swearing :D

Haha! We should do that. Go to Hacking Computers 101 :P

I feel like i'm wasting my time occasionally, but i hate not finishing books if i can help it. Even though every now and then i'll give up on a book.
You mean the HON books? Or is that another Chosen book?
I know what you mean though. Sometimes i'll read a book and think, "How in the world did this get published?". The story and the writing is just bad and plain boring and it doesn't make sense.
Lol. Don't worry about the swearing. I swear a lot sometimes in real life, but when i'm online i try to be polite and considerate cos you never know how other people feel about it.

Yeah. We can get a book.....Hacking for Dummies ;)

message 33: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I know. I feel bad cause I've already wasted so many hours on it of my life I might as well finish it. But then I think "why should I be wasting even more hours?"
Yep. The one and only screwed up series :@
It's insane. The characters are unlikable, the plot is predictable, the writing is horrible, and they still get published!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh. Phew! I swear in RL, even though I try not to because it's a habit from being around my friends :/

I wonder if such a thing exist... Although I did find a Twitter for Dummies book in my school library, so I'm sure there'd be one for hacking.

That's how i feel most of the time.
Gah. I know. HON is so sad. And yet i still read them, lol. I'm actually looking forward to Awakened. The last two books were probably the best in the series. I wanna see how long the Cast's can actually keep it up. Producing a good book usually seems impossible for them.
I swear occasionally in RL. Mainly when i'm upset, hyper or agitated.

Haha. They have all kinds of fill in the blank for dummies books.

message 35: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Too sad. Yeah, I saw Awakened in the store yesterday and mum steered me away from it. So I'm guessing I was glaring at it or something. Really? I just can't picture it picking itself up. I read all the spoiler reviews for them though :D

Or when I hurt myself! That's a perfectly good reason to swear.

Lol! It's quite sad, really.

I just finished it. It wasn't bad...not like a couple of the others. But it wasn't great either. And a few things that happens....arrgh!! Why can't they just stop making everything so weird.

Yes! I swear then too.

I know =)
