Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 11 comments I always felt that Where the Wild Things Are have one of the greatest illustrations out of any children's book!! My favorite part of the book was when Max and the Wild Things were dancing around the forest and there were 6 images of them dancing around during the wild rumpus.

Luann (azbookgal) | 16 comments Not to take the conversation off-topic, but I'm curious what those of you who love Where the Wild Things Are thought of the movie? I didn't go see it in the theater because I was worried I would hate it. I finally rented it a month or so ago. I didn't hate it, but for me it definitely wasn't as magical as the book.

Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 11 comments I felt the same way about the Where the Wild Things Are movie, Luann. I felt like the movie was too dark and even though it wasn't a terrible movie, the whole idea of the movie being darker than the book just threw me off entirely.
