This folder is designed to help support our fellow Goodreads authors. All tips are welcome!

One great example is a feature known as Amazon tagging. Amazon basically assigns keywords for books to help readers discover them within genre categories. The more votes a keyword gets--eg. science fiction--the higher the book will appear on the keyword book list.

I've seen tagging on a number of groups and I think it helps out.

For all GR Authors who would like to participate, feel free to add your book to this post as well as four keywords you'd like tagged. (And please don't forget to tag the books in the post above you.)

My book has four main tags:
Fiction
Science Fiction
Young Adult
Childrens Books (as spelled here)

Try visiting your Amazon site, copying the link, and pasting it again. Sometimes it works to redo it.

Tagging a book really helps get it in front of customers. Would anyone mind tagging my books on Amazon as well?

Thanks Delyse, but I haven't written anything... well, two short stories for my kids never published, and one very short story that was published in the local paper. Inspiration seems to be getting closer, though.

Since I am not a submitted or published author, if anyone wants to see how my writing skills are at the moment, since I'm not an author, here is a link to a 1-page short story about the day my Dad came home from the war.
