Nita, what did you think of that one? I love Pullman's other work and it's part of a rewritten myths series that I've enjoyed as well. I haven't had a chance to pick this one up yet, but I've heard good reviews, so I wondered what you thought.

What did you think of this Nita? Seems to be being pulled apart in some quarters. Am hoping to read some Anita Blake later this month (the first book) and am not sure if I should just stop about book 10 as many advocate or carry on?

I enjoyed it for the most part. I think what I liked most was Jesus' parables. Pullman changed some a little, some a lot, and didn't change some at all. And the parables were interesting to read within the context of the myth Pullman re-wrote. I recommend.
